I can think of a few measures to add to determine splog or blog, but that list does cover a lot of my ideas and has some I had not throught of.

Even though the idea seems to be good, unfortunately I can't really make use of this. I'm going to have to come up with my own algorithm to identify splogs because I'll need to go through tens of thousands of blogs each day..

If I'm not mistaken, much of the logic is probably similar to what Kailash Nadh spelled out here:

http://www.kailashnadh.name/docs/spam_blog/spamblog_hypothesis.html

Certainly not as 'smart' as human inspection, but there is some merit to it.

I agree, this will be a better tool for automated services than for individuals. I am also interested in what kind of technology they use and how they determin what is splog, but I guess exposing this would allow sploggers to fool the service.

Interesting, but I don't see a lot of use out of it for individual spam fighters. Most splogs are easily identifiable just with a quick view of the page. So no real need for a spam fighter to use a program to check.

But this service allows that check to be done quicker and without human input (assuming they get the bugs worked out; they identified my blog as a splog). That I think would be a lot of use to blog services such as Technocrati and IceRocket. Or possibly as a comment filter for links to pages identified as splogs. But all of those will likely eat up bandwith pretty fast. I hope they have good servers.
