In a post explaining why spammers create splogs you must mention that ad revenue is a major reason. They also did not use nofollow on the splog examples. Not good. I do admit the Pen-Pal Patty example he gave was not so clearly a splog, but if you look carefully you will notice it is missing something, line breaks. I don’t think it gives a good overview at all.
