Auto Detailer Seeks Location Approval in Limerick

LIMERICK PA – Matt’s Professional Detailing LLC, a Royersford-based automobile detailing company, proposes to lease garage and parking area at 412 N. Lewis Rd., and will ask the township Zoning Hearing Board during its April 27 (2022; Wednesday) meeting for variances needed for its operations, according to a legal advertisement published on the board’s behalf.

The 1,232-square-foot garage and parking spaces to be leased are located within the township’s R-3 Zoning (residential) and Lewis Road Corridor Overlay districts. The company is seeking variances to:

• Permit the automotive detailing business in the R-3 district;
• Allow for the automotive detailing business in the R-3 district, which is not permitted by conditional use; and
• Allow the automotive detailing business in the overlay district, which also is not permitted by conditional use.

The hearing is free to attend and open to the public, and will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the township municipal building, 646 W. Ridge Pike. During the hearing “any person or party interested will be given full opportunity to be heard,” the advertisement stated. The board reserved the right to conduct other business as part of its meeting as well.

During the same meeting, a separate and unrelated hearing will be held at the request of 542 N. Lewis Road LP, 1030 W. Germantown Pike, East Norriton, for variances needed to install three exterior façade signs within an office park at 542 N. Lewis Rd.
