Petersen Automotive Museum Opens McLaren Racecar Exhibition

The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles is spending tribute to the record of McLaren with a new racecar exhibition.

Started in 1963 by Bruce McLaren, the McLaren Motor Racing staff is the second-most thriving crew in System 1 record. The new exhibition explores this legacy by looking at scarce early McLaren racecars like the Cam-Am, Formula 1, Formulation 2, Formulation 5000 and USAC that all characteristic the automaker’s signature papaya-coloured paint scheme.
